Isolation is the result of 5 days during the summer of 1989 in a one room cabin on the coast of Northern California. The instrumentation was restricted by the amount of food, clothes, and bedding which also had to fit in the van. All selections recorded live, no overdubs, tapes of the road trip are also included.

2021 note: Long out of print, Isolation is one of the earliest and rawest documents of the collaboration between Bonnie Mcnairn and Jim Wilson. Although some of these tracks appeared on Voice of Eye Anthology One put out by Vinyl on Demand, the entire cassette is available here for the first time in 30 years.
